What is your favourite item in your workplace?
My notebook. In Germany, we say: “Who writes, stays”. I try to take as many notes as possible in meetings so that I can reflect the information later in tranquillity. And in my creative work phases, it helps me enormously to note or sketch ideas. Because another motto that is very faithful to me is: “A picture says more than a thousand words“.

Which person (living or dead) would you like to meet?
Markus Kavka. Since my days as a teenager, he’s always been where I feel musically comfortable. In addition, he is a wonderful storyteller, very funny and has an impressive vita. We’ve learned something again.

What else would you like to learn/try?
Statistics. I hated probability theory at school and tortured myself through statistics at university. But in the meantime I have learned how fascinating this discipline can be and, above all, how it can save us from making wrong decisions. Numbers, data, facts instead of emotional speculation.

What is important to you in your job?
The problem. I think a good understanding of the problem is essential to develop effective solutions for our clients. However, problems are always negative. That’s why we need a lot of trust, respect and, above all, the security to be able to talk openly about things and admit our own gaps in knowledge. Honestly getting to the bottom of things.

Do you have a favourite word?
Somehow. The world, our work, our clients, and our colleagues are not simply black and white. Those who think in such categories fail to realize that we always have to deal with people in our everyday lives. And people are diverse, colourful, have secrets, longings and always behave differently than we expect. People are somehow.
